NOTE: Pressure ratings are HIGHLY dependent on the tubing material, tubing ID and OD, tubing durometer (hardness), and other factors such as elevated temperatures and use of tubing clamps. Proprietary Beswick “captured o-ring face seal” fittings can withstand very high pressures (over 5,000 psi in many cases). The proprietary Beswick “line contact” barb is known for its holding power and leak-tightness. The limiting factor with barbed style fittings is the tubing characteristics and interface between the tubing and fitting. NOTE: Push-to-connect fittings are convenient for occasional connection or disconnection however a true quick disconnect, such as Beswick “snap-type” quick disconnects, are often a better choice when many connection or disconnection cycles are anticipated. | |||||
